Recently I stumbled across an interesting recipe for strawberry shortcake fudge. How could I resist trying it out? After a bit of tweaking –especially on the crust — Nudge Shoppe’s strawberry shortcake because a reality. Earlier this week, my mom gave me a container of mini rolos. I was eager to try these in a fudge and found a few turtle fudge recipes. Unfortunately, a few days later when I wanted to make some thank you fudge for colleagues, I hadn’t been to the store for pecans, and I didn’t want to go either.
So, I figured I’d try my own thing. And while I was just mixing up some ingredients I experimented with the chocolate base, too. The result was this rolo and marshmallow fudge.
